Plenus Venture Lending
|
A venture loan fund that provides late stage hi-tech companies with the needed operating capital to successfully reach the next equity event, whether it is a private equity investment, the sale of the company, or a public offering. A Plenus loan is often used as a financial 'buffer' on top of or as part of an equity investment round enabling the company to have additional comfort in uncertain market times.
Fund Strategy
Plenus secures credit lines for a diversified portfolio of companies ranging from enterprise software, capital equipment, and semiconductors to medical devices. Plenus invests in mid to late stage technology companies that have a completed product in their target market and are generating initial (or later) revenues. Plenus invests in both public and private companies. A venture loan from Plenus is a credit line or a loan in consideration of interest payments and warrant coverage. A typical loan is in the range of $1-10 million, granted for a period of up to 36 months. The company's assets and IP are used as security for the loan. Plenus works together with each company to customize the credit proposal to suit each company's individual needs.
