Avi Zeevi is a Founding General Partner of Carmel Ventures. From 1994 to 1999, Avi was the CFO of Oshap Technologies, a European and Israeli investment group. From 1984 to 1994, Avi served as President and CEO of MINT Software Technologies Ltd., a provider of intelligent solutions for application integration in financial services and led its penetration into the European market. Avi served as a director of MINT Software Technologies Ltd., as well as a director of Decalog N.V., a provider of enterprise automation solutions for investment management firms, and had a major role in turning them into successful global companies until they were sold to SunGard in July 1999. Avi served as a director of Tecnomatix (NASDAQ: TCNO). He was the active Chairman of the Board of Actimize, a portfolio company of Carmel and D Partners, which was purchased by Nice Systems (NASDAQ: NICE) for over $280 million in September 2007.
Avi possesses over 24 years of experience in executive positions at various private and publicly held Israeli and international high-growth software companies. Avi has been involved in numerous acquisitions, private placements and public offerings of software companies and has established himself as a major contributor to the success of software companies and to the facilitation of desirable exits for investors. Avi is also a member of the executive committee of the Israel Venture Association.
